FINDcures 2020 Walk and Talk

FINDcures is hosting its premiere Walk and Talk Learning Event on July 18, 2020 from 8:00am to 10:30am.  The event will take place on the Sea Summit Trail overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean starting at the Jim Johnson Memorial Sports Park on Avenida Vista Hermosa in San Clemente, CA next to the I-5 Southbound exit.

Purpose of this event?

This event has been organized to provide the general public with an opportunity to walk, talk, ask questions of, and learn from world class research scientists, medical practitioners, and healthcare service organizations that are searching for cures to neurological diseases or are involved in providing support to individuals affected by a neurological illness and their caretakers.

Who should attend?

  • Anyone that works in the field of neurology
  • Those that have a neurological condition.
  • Those that care for an individual impacted by a neurological disease.

How to register?

As you proceed, you will be given an option to select the neurological disease or disorder you are most interested in learning more about.  We will do everything possible to accommodate your selections.  When you arrive at the event, you will be assigned to a walking group.  Groups will be limited to no more than 10 attendees per, medical practitioner or healthcare professional.

Directions to the event

  • Southbound on the 5 Fwy, exit Via Hermosa Ave in San Clemente, CA.  Turn Right; travel 1/10th of a mile and turn Right into the Sport Park entrance.
  • Northbound on the 5 Fwy, exit Via Hermosa Ave in San Clemente, CA.  Turn Left; travel 2/10th’s of a mile and turn Right into the Sport Park entrance.

Fun Things To Do After

After supporting the event, all of the following activities are less than two miles from the event:

Take in a really cool car show.

Shop at the San Clemente Outlets.

Grab a couple of Sancho’s Tacos for lunch.

Or stay and make it a day at the beach.
